Personal data we process

Energy Ports processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years old. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without permission, please contact us at hello@energyports.com, and we will delete this information.

Purpose and basis for processing personal data

Energy Ports processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sending our newsletter and/or promotional materials
  • Being able to call or email you if necessary to provide our services
  • Automated decision-making (future development)
  • Energy Ports takes responsibility for decisions that may have (significant) consequences for individuals based on automated processing. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without any human involvement (for example, an Energy Ports employee).

Please black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) in this copy to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Energy Ports also wants to inform you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
